Technical Implementation: How We Work
Personalization is achieved through two main processes: engraving and cutting. While engraving removes the surface of the material to create a high-contrast image or text, laser cutting allows for the creation of entirely new shapes. We often combine both in a single step to create three-dimensional gift boxes or complex jewelry.
We utilize modern CO2 lasers for organic materials such as wood and acrylic, and Fiber lasers for metallic surfaces. This guarantees that edges remain clean and no unwanted burns disturb the design. Every material reacts differently to the laser beam; our experience in Graz allows us to calibrate the parameters perfectly for each individual piece.
What You Should Prepare for Your Order
To ensure a smooth implementation, we ask our customers to provide the following information:
- Text Specifications: Exact spelling of names, dates, or quotes. Please double-check these for typos, as the laser implements exactly what is in the digital plan.
- Logo Files: Ideally, provide vector graphics (e.g., in .svg or .pdf format). If you only have a raster image, we offer the necessary vectorization in our Layout Preparation service.
- Material Preference: Do you have a preference for a specific type of wood or a color of acrylic? We are happy to advise you in person at our workshop.
- Timeline: Let us know your desired delivery date so we can optimize the production schedule.
The Result: What You Receive From Us
At the end of the process, we hand over a physical product that convinces in terms of precision and haptics. In addition to the finished gift, you receive:
- The finalized product in protective packaging.
- A digital photo of the finished piece before delivery for final confirmation.
- The final vector layout plan (provided the design service was performed by us and fully paid).
- Brief instructions on material care to ensure the engraving maintains its intensity over the years.
Delivery Times and Scheduling
Quality takes time. Our average delivery time is 5-7 days. This period covers the time from the final layout approval to completion. For complex individual pieces or larger quantities for corporate events, we recommend a lead time of at least two weeks.

Scope of Service: What Is Not Included
To avoid misunderstandings, we transparently state which services are not part of our offer:
- Copyrighted Logos: We do not perform engravings of brand logos without written permission from the rights holder.
- Chlorinated Materials: For safety and environmental reasons, we do not process plastics containing chlorine (e.g., PVC), as these release toxic gases during lasering.
- Documents and Official IDs: Engravings on passports, IDs, or vehicle license plates are strictly prohibited.
- Shipping Costs: Our prices are generally based on pickup in Graz. Shipping is possible upon request and will be calculated separately.
Pricing and Value Added Tax
The price calculation for personalized gifts consists of the material base, the time for digital preparation, and the actual laser time. We work with transparent fixed prices for base packages, while complex custom creations are calculated based on effort.
All prices listed on our website include the statutory Austrian VAT of 20%. For our B2B customers, we additionally indicate the net amount in the price list. Billing is transparently based on the chosen package.

Which materials are best suited for gifts?
For a warm, natural look, we recommend plywood or solid wood. If you want a more modern and clean appearance, acrylic glass is the ideal choice. For high-quality accessories like wallets or cases, we use genuine leather, which acquires a very elegant, dark coloring through engraving.
Can I bring my own material?
Generally, yes, provided the material is laser-compatible and contains no dangerous additives such as chlorine. However, we assume no liability for the material's reaction during the laser process for provided materials. A prior inspection in our workshop is mandatory.
How does payment work for custom orders?
Due to the individuality of the products, we require a deposit of 50% of the total amount before production begins. The remaining balance is due upon pickup or delivery. For B2B customers, we offer payment terms of up to 14 days.
Are personalized items eligible for return?
No. In accordance with EU consumer protection directives for goods manufactured to customer specifications, there is no legal right of withdrawal for personalized individual pieces, unless there is a material or manufacturing defect.
